Brian Hanning is the founder and sole attorney for Hanning Law Ltd. He earned a bachelors degree from Colorado State University’s College of Business and a juris doctor degree from Michigan State University College of Law. Combining these interests and skill sets sent him on the path towards owning his own firm to connect with and support clients in a more personal and impactful way. Brian is a member of the Colorado Bar and assists entrepreneurs, small businesses, and creative industry clients primarily in the Northern Colorado area.

Brian practices transactional law with a focus on helping small business owners understand what laws can apply to their businesses, and the risks and benefits associated with certain decisions. He also volunteers with Colorado Attorneys for the Arts to share his expertise and hands on client experience with artists around the State.

Outside of work, Brian spends a lot of time with family -most importantly the three family dogs. He enjoys living and working in Fort Collins, Colorado is the abundance of delicious and interesting local coffee shops and microbreweries. Brian ends up at both establishments frequently, perhaps more frequently than his waistline prefers.
