Denichiro "Denny" Otsuga, has a passion for developing a venture community, where new and innovative businesses thrive. Denny believes building a sustainable city should include a vibrant venture community. Denny has dedicated using all of his experience as an entrepreneur, investor, economic development, university-based research translation, and commercialization for Colorado in the past six years in a 'give first' spirit to the community.

As the founding President and CEO of the US subsidiary operation for a Japanese venture capital investment firm, Denny brought more than $6M of investment capital to Colorado, in less than 12 months, including serving as a General Partner of the Rockies Venture Fund.

Denny is also an experienced entrepreneur, having co-founded and exited a company (EnConnect Holdings) with the 20x return in 18 months after growing the business to a significant revenue level. Denny has considerable experience in intellectual property transactions with more than 150 deals he has led or co-led deals with the total contract value of more than $4M.
