Greg Guler

Walt Disney Studios
Character Designer
Burbank, CA
Greg Guler was born in New Rockford, North Dakota and due to an early friendship with Popeye and Mighty Mouse began drawing while very young. Mostly self-taught, he has spent many hours at the drawing board trying to emulate the artists who inspired him. Jack Kirby, Neal Adams, Norman Rockwell, Milt Kahl, Tex Avery, Walt Disney, Will Eisner and Moebius were early influences that he continues to admire. Greg studied commercial art and after briefly working in commercial animation and product illustration in Minneapolis, he saw a dream come true when he began drawing “Hawk and Dove” for DC comics in the late 80’s. When that book ended in 1991, he was hired as prop designer on Darkwing Duck at Walt Disney Television Animation. He worked on a number of shows including Quack Pack and Aladdin before moving on to character design on the show Gargoyles. Since then he has worked on many television shows and DVDs such as The Mighty Ducks, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, The Legend of Tarzan, Fox and Hound 2, Lilo and Stitch-the Series, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Phineas and Ferb. He is currently lead character designer on Milo Murphys Law created by Dan Povenmire and Swampy Marsh, the creators of Phineas and Ferb. Greg is honored to be part of such a creative and talented crew. He lives in Colorado, with his beautiful wife, kids and two beagles.
