Turtle Mountain
I brewed my first batch of kombucha in my apartment in Philadelphia in 2013. I started brewing it for the health benefits and continued to brew it because I saw results. When I decided to move to Fort Collins, one of the few items I brought with me was my SCOBY and kombucha brewing equipment. The healthy lifestyle of the people of Fort Collins encouraged me to bring my Kombucha to the farmer’s markets. After receiving tremendous positive feedback and gaining enough capital to begin brewing and producing in larger amounts, I opened Turtle Mountain Fermentery in February 2014. My sister, Hannah, joined the company as a co-owner in 2017 and has become an indispensable asset with her experience in marketing, accounting, and sales. We now have a team of four amazing employees. Turtle Mountain has grown to meet the demand of our customers, and after four years of hard work, we are incredibly proud to be opening Fort Collins first Kombucha taproom in March 2018. We will also be fermenting our sauerkrauts, kimchi, and various other probiotic products for sale at our store-front. The core of our company is our passion for our product and we are incredibly thankful to our community who has supported us over the past four years and for years to come!
